WISHES ON THE WIND - visitors will write their wishes on a small strip cut from colored plastic bags and then staple the strips to ribbons connected to balloons that are tethered to the ground. The resulting balloon bunches will be a colorful changing sculptural installation. By incorporating pieces of plastic bags we hope to raise awareness of environmental concerns about plastic bags, recycling and wishes for a better world.
WISHES ON THE WIND is an installation by MayoSandoval Projects, a collaboration between the artists Trish Mayo and Stephen Sandoval.
If you are interested in adding your wishes to the project are are unable to do so in person you can send via email to mayosandoval@gmail.com. Follow MayoSandoval on twitter or on Facebook.
